Why my friend Chimi is a Hero

My friend Chimi is 4 years old. He plays with me. We went out to the island of Limu together. My Dad and Chimi's Dad paddled the tomol (sea-canoe)with the other paddlers to the island. We had fun on the island. It was the first time in a long time the people had paddled a tomol to the island.

Chimi and I are brave because we are not scared of sharks. We go in the ocean. Some day we will paddle the tomol together to Limu like our parents did. When we get to Limu we will sing songs and dance in our regalia. We will camp there with our families. We will have a big fiesta out there.
