Disclaimer For Craft Articles

by Lynne "SageFlower" Pennington

The information in this Craft series is primarily for reference, education and to increase your knowledge of Native American Crafts. Every effort humanly possible has been made to ensure the accuracy, currency and reliability of the content.

Some of the information for these articles has been acquired from external sources via research. Therefore, I cannot warrant and disclaim liability that the information and materials listed in the articles are free from errors or omissions or that they are suitable for your intended use.

Today, many Native American crafts are made for decorative purposes, without the intention of being used for ceremonial or spiritual purposes. This is also the intention of this Craft Section of "We Have Many Voices". Each craft taught will be for decorative purpose only. No sacred objects will be discussed nor will any instruction be given for them, out of respect to all tribes.

Should a question come up about something being sacred, please contact me, as soon as possible. I try to research what is sacred to different tribes, but sometimes, what is sacred to one tribe may not be sacred to another. If this is the case then it is my obligation to not run that article. Please email me.

Adult supervision is strongly recommended when children are engaged in craft work. "We have Many Voices" and its staff will not be liable for any direct, indirect,  punitive or consequential damages of any kind, whatsoever, if you use the information and materials listed in these articles. It is to be understood that, if you use any of the information, from these articles, you are accepting responsibility for your own actions.
