Area students earn tribal scholarships |
Three northcentral Montana students are among 12 recipients of $20,000 scholarships from the American Indian College Fund's Tribal Scholars Program. The scholarship will be paid over the 2003-05 academic years, according to a news release. The scholarships can go toward tuition and fees, books, room and board, equipment and supplies or travel expenses to and from home. Winners must pursue undergraduate degrees in mathematics, science, computer science, engineering or resource management at any U.S. college or university. Tribal scholars are:
