Tribal Youth Sought for Martial Arts Drive

by KICK International

Kick BoxerKICK International, announced its new Youth Development Drive today in St. Louis, Missouri. The Drive is designed to recruit members from rural areas and American Indian tribal lands in order to develop martial arts programs for young people to participate in after school.

"We hope that this membership drive will reach the young people living on tribal lands and in rural areas who are interested in the martial arts but have no where to currently practice," said Frank Babcock, Executive Director of the organization. "We can provide a safe, positive environment to learn and play sports, which is critical to a community’s ability to help kids live up to their potential."

KICK is a not-for-profit sports and youth development organization that uses martial arts to positively impact its members. It provides guidance to young people through a martial arts curriculum for children and adults that supports honesty, integrity, athleticism, discipline, knowledge, education, and holistic health, all of which are developed in a fun, energetic environment. KICK has enjoyed continued growth over the past years, and is looking to expand its membership to better serve its members and the community.

Individuals interested in learning more about KICK, or its summer kickboxing tournament at the Riviera Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada (July, 2003), can visit their website at www.kickinternational.com or call for more information at 1-866-339-7905.
