Space Shuttle Columbia and its crew -- Commander Rick Husband, Pilot Willie McCool and Mission Specialists Michael Anderson, David Brown, Kalpana Chawla and Laurel Clark, and Payload Specialist Ilan Ramon -- were lost over north Texas, on Saturday, February 1, as they were descending for landing in Florida.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends of these heroes.
