The bighorn sheep (Ovis canadensis) is a hoofed mammal that lives in the Rocky Mountains of North America (alpine tundra) and in some desert areas. Bighorn sheep range from southern Canada to Colorado (in the Rocky Mountains) and in an area from Mexico to California to Nevada to Texas (in desert areas). |
