Working dogs are those breeds that have been trained to do various tasks, including: Pulling sleds on snow (Alaskan Malamute, Chinook, Eskimo Dog, Eurasier, Greenland Dog, Siberian Husky). Guard dog (Aidi, Mastiff, Bullmastiff, Chow Chow, Doberman, Rottweiler). Driving livestock (Entelbuch Mountain Dog, Rottweiler). Guarding livestock (Komondor, Kuvasz, Maremma, Sheepdog, Mudi, Pyrenean Mountain Dog, Tibetan Mastiff). Hunting large game (Ainu, Akita, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasileriro, Great Dane, Karelian Bear Dog, Elkhounds, Lapphund). Hunting birds (Lundehund, Norrbottenspets, Finnish Spitz). Baiting bulls (Bull Terrier). Fighting (American Bulldog, Canary Dog, Shar Pei, Tosa Inu). Pulling carts (Bernese Mountain Dog, Chow Chow, Great Swiss Mountain Dog). Helping fishermen (Newfoundland). Search and rescue (St. Bernard), retrieving game from water (Standard Poodle.) Carriage dog (Dalmatian).
