It supports training for K-2 teachers to recognize children at risk for reading and learning difficulties, and how to teach them effectively. Formed in 1997 as a public, nonprofit organization by Drs. Bill and Camille Cosby, the foundation is dedicated to fulfilling the goals and dreams of their son, Ennis by creating fundamental changes–in services, attitudes, educational systems, families, and communities–in order to support children and unlock the gifts of creative accomplishments in learning that benefit all.
