Now and again, our lives are touched by special people. People who make a difference
in ours, or someone else's lives. Rodney Grant is one of those people. His generous contributions to those in need
are an inspiration. Pidamaya yedo, Rodney!!
Bobby Camarillo:
For those in the past who have participated in the fundraiser's on Rodney's site, we extend our
gratitude in helping us raise funds in particular through National Transplant Association Fund in the past for
Bobby Camarillo (An ailing young man awaiting a double lung transplant!) We have always held successful raffles
due to the outpouring of support from our list members of this site and from fans/visitors who visit as well.
Have you ever had trouble breathing? If so, you will know how Bobby feels...24 hours a day, 7 days a week. When
Bobby was 3 he had a reaction to medication. That left him with lung damage. Just when life should have been beginning
it was put on hold. Now every moment of every day he waits for a donor, whose lungs will save his life. For the
last ten months he has been on oxygen 24 hours a day, unable to go to school, or do anything that a normal young
boy can do.
As
a resident of Madera, California he has been accepted as a candidate
for a double lung transplant at LA Children's Hospital in L.A.
California. Now money needs to be raised for extensive surgery
care and life sustaining medication. That's where we need your
help. We have set up a tax-deductible fund for Bobby and his family
to help meet these expenses. Please help us today by becoming
a contributor to Bobby's fund. your financial gifts as well as
your prayers will be greatly appreciated. The fund is administered
by the National transplant assistance fund.(1-800-642-8399)a 501
(C) 3 non-profit, tax exempt organization dedicated to providing
assistance tot he transplant community and to promote donor awareness.

Daywatch: Jade Mesa-Grant:
We will be holding a fundraiser for the next couple months by raffling the above doll
in memory of Jade Mesa-Grant who was a Fancy Shawl Dancer. Funds are being raised for Daywatch Inc, in her name.
A couple of years ago Jade was involved in a special project along with some of her High School classmates in creating
a mural for the center. Daywatch Inc. is a homeless shelter that is open during the day for the homeless and is
in need of funds to continue to keep their doors open. The director of Daywatch Inc. has informed me that the shelter
should have a web-site within the next few months and in the meanwhile anyone can e-mail him for information on
the shelter. For information regarding the raffle. Read on:
Tickets are $5 a chance. Send in a cash, check or money and indicate it is in Jade Mesa's memory for Daywatch:
At this time we ask for those paying by check/ money order to make check payable to Daywatch Inc. As checks come
in, your names will be included in the section below by the raffle number and you will be notified of your number.
Thanks so much for your cooperation and assistance with this fundraiser.
