Hopi teachers get $1,000-a-year pay raises POLACCA, Ariz. — The Hopi Junior/Senior High School governing board voted unanimously
this week to raise its teacher salaries $1,000 across the board for the next school year. |

Indian School agreement approved The Albuquerque, New Mexico, City Council on Monday approved a 30-year agreement which
one Pueblo official said would set a nationwide precedent. |
