A concern for the elders overwhelmed me. Born of this snowstorm was a Blanket Campaign to assist those in need
during these winter months. Soon it grew from blankets to winter clothing, boots and other items needed to provide
warmth in the harsh winter climate of South Dakota. During this time we have found the need to be great in many
areas. We have since blossomed into the Rez Aide Foundation. Explore the four seasons in Alaska

and the Indian Health Service (IHS) entered a joint venture to develop the Native Health Research Database (NHRD).
The NHRD entries represent resource documents developed primarily by IHS staff, tribal health professionals, and
health care practitioners working in American Indian reservations, Alaska Native villages, and urban areas with
significant American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) populations. |
